PARKING

*There is plenty of parking at the Memorial Coliseum, ~$8/day with all spaces no more than a 1/4 mile from the race start/finish and bathrooms

PACKET PICKUP/REGISTRATION

*Bring a photo ID and your USATF License (if you have one) to packet pickup and registration.

*USATF waivers and licenses will be taken care of here.

*Cash, check and credit card payments(3% fee) can be accepted for day before and race day registrations.

RACE TIMING, RESULTS, AND TIMING CHIP PICKUP

*The race will be chip timed by a professional timing company

*Post-race results will be posted LIVE as racers finish ,with final official results soon to follow linked from this website, social media pages, and emailed to racers.   Updates with links to look for soon.   www.rubletiming.com always will have live and final links as well.

*Results will include overall time, splits for all segments of the race listed above, and overall/gender/age group placings.

*Bibs will be given out in race bags for pre-registered and day before registration.   Race Day given as you register

NUMBERING

*All participants will receive numbered bibs to be pinned in a visible front location, and will receive a wristband at packet pickup that is mandatory to wear during the race with their number on it.

CLOTHING

COURSE

*Run course maps are linked below, scroll down

*The Half and Full Marathon run courses follow the same out and back route - except the Half Marathon turns around halfway out of hte distance the marathon will go out.

*Flat and fast course

*Start and the memorial coliseum and run towards downtown on Parnell, eventually getting onto the paved greenway trail.

*Run through places such as 'The Old Fort', 'Headwaters Park', 'Promenade Park', 'Sweeney Park', and 'Foster Park'

*Views of downtown Fort Wayne along the run course

*The courses will be marked with signs and tape and volunteers will also help direct runners.

*Police at any intersections/trail crossings that traffic needs controlled

*There will be frequent aid stations on the run every ~1.5 miles

AUDIO DEVICES

*Headphones, headsets, walkmans, ipods, mp3 players, or personal audio devices TBD per USATF rules

RESTROOMS

*There will be porta-johns at the race start as well as Memorial Coliseum bathrooms

*1/2 to all aid stations will have a port o john - TBD soon

T-SHIRTS, MEDALS, AWARDS

*T-Shirts will be in the race packet. 

*Finisher medals will be given at the finish line. 

*Age group and Overall awards will be given out in the half and full marathon, TBD breakdown announced soon

*Awards will be done on a grab and go basis as soon as your result/placing is confirmed post race

*Water and Gatorade will be available pre-race

PACERS

*TBD pacers - at most we'd have the in the marathon for 3:30:00, 3:45:00, 4:00:00, 4:15:00, 4:30:00, 4:45:00, 5:00:00

 

CONTINGENCY PLANS

*The race start may be delayed up to 1 hour if the weather is anticipated to clear up.

*If weather forces a cancellation we can offer a 50% discount to a future 2023/24 event.
